A little over $1,300 total. Not really sure what I can do to have that reduced. I "think" that's with my insurance included, but not totally sure. Have never had to use health insurance on anything.

Good morning all.

Not only is it raining out, but I am back from a vacation from the white Mtns. of New Hampshire. All I can say is, I need to go back with the Z ASAP! The Kancamagus hwy in a mazda 3 was not thrilling enough.

That sounds high if you are insured. Check with the insurance company and find out what they cover.

Yea, I'll be calling. I'm not exactly sure how my insurance works or how it works in general. I was expecting $600-$700. No car parts even longer if $1,300 is the case.

Also send a thank you note to Obama for helping to make an already-complicated industry (health insurance) completely incomprehensible.

I'll be studying how my insurance works for the rest of the day. At least if I don't know something, I damn will try to figure it out.

My wife's deductible is $2500. So she has to spend that much before they start covering any hospital visits. Once she reaches that, she has to pay 20% of costs up to a max out of pocket number that I can't remember.

I'm paying over $400/month for a $0 deductible and $1500 max out of pocket plan right now (only because the company is reimbursing me for it). Last year I paid $200 for a $1000 deductible and $2500 max out of pocket - there's nothing even remotely close to that now. The $250 plan is now $3500 with $7500 max. So I can use this now ... Thanks, Obama! :shakes head:

My deductible is $1,300. i know that for sure. My confusion comes into play when I read the bill. The total was $1,350 roughly. Then the secondary billing has it stated at $750. But it says that's negated I believe. So my insurance covered the $750, but not the $1,300?

I'm just shocked anybody can charge over a grand for 5 simple stitches. Now I'm wicked happy I took them out myself. And I'll def be going to Urgent Care from now on if they're open.
