I will have to keep that in mind! The DD silverado is starting to rust in a few normal places and I need to take care of it before it becomes a major issue.

. Takes about 7-10days to get it but they mix it up and you can even get it in aerosol cans. MUCH better than anything you get retail.

Good luck with the repairs. Easy but very time consuiming. I got impatient towards the end so my paint isn't as clean as it could've been before I cleared. But I'm picky. My wife couldn't even tell where I painted so most people won't know!

Back from Houston. Had a nice inurnment and celebration service for my grandmother yesterday.

Unfortunately, my parents had their house broken into while they were gone. Must have been amateurs or high schoolers. Very few items were missing. They took cheap high school rings with far more sentimental than actual value that were sitting right next to a box of my grandmother's silver that probably has a five figure value in total. Good news for because I am inheriting the formal silverware set. Contractor was already over there this morning to fix the door that was busted in.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. My condolences.

Hopefully those scum bags get what they deserve

So I was too lazy to go to the store for speaker wire. Stole it from my home system that I rarely use :icon17: 16 gauge to the doors and 12 gauge to the tweeters :rofl2:

Anyone know if I can use the spare tire holder downer thingy in the hatch as a ground if I remove paint from the top and toss on ring terminal and secure it with a bolt? I really dont want to rip everything out of the hatch :icon17: I am too lazy to get up out of my chair now too to find out.

Everyone is ok. Nothing major

My cousin is staying with them through November while he works in Marble Falls before shipping off to Officer's Training for the Army. He was the one who drove home after the funeral and was first on the scene. He had seen everything askew but noticed his computer and guns and were still there and some paintings knocked off the wall, and his first text to my mom was hilarious:

"It looks like either a deer tore through the house or an earthquake hit." :rofl2:

Oh and I just picked up the Honda after tint and interior/exterior protectant application. The car is too dirty to really inspect properly and the trunk deck lid is swirled worse than when I dropped it off

I'm going to go home and wash it and see what it looks like at that point. Then I will take it back to them for correction. Good old dealer$hits lol

IDK if I would trust them to fix it at this point. come back with no paint left... "See! No swirls!"
