Nation. Didja get a burrito? Didja actually get it in the tortilla. You should try a burrito bowl (no tortilla). You'll still be sleepy but not AS sleepy.

Win 8.1 solved some of those problems. Still ... I stuck with 7

From what I understand Win10 takes more control away from the user security wise.

Security patches install immediatly and without notification
Windows 10 forces updates

Windows 10 comes with a system called Wi-Fi Sense, originally found in Windows Phone 8.1. It enables users to share your Wi-Fi network access with your contacts on Facebook, Skype, and Outlook. Now, I'm all for sharing, but this is going pretty far, as the feature automatically shares your password (encrypted) to everyone you're connected to ... spammers included. To disable this setting, go to Wi-Fi > Network Settings > Manage Wi-Fi Settings and clear all the boxes there.

If, after upgrading, you find that your printer isn't working, you may have to start the whole installation process over. In order to ensure seamless connectivity, everything, even the drivers of accompanying hardware, should be updated in advance of upgrading. Make sure you're using a printer that's compatible with Windows.

The Chrome browser, a complicated ecosystem unto itself, is extra finicky on Windows 10. Perhaps this is Microsoft's subversive way of getting more people to use Edge? You may find it particularly buggy while running YouTube. If you must use this browser, be mindful of extensions. Run as few as possible. Some users have found that Chrome crashes without warning and simply does not wake back up when reopened. The solution? Unfortunately, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall Chrome.

Not very AMD compatible, also had problems with nVidia. The two top of the line video card suppliers.

When you upgrade to Windows 10, a Setting Screen will pop up asking if you want to use the new Photos, Movies, TV, and the Microsoft Edge browser. It seems instinctual to check yes, since you want access to these features. Consider though that if you do check yes, all your default applications will be Microsoft. Best to not select this setting and instead choose to use specific Microsoft apps going forward.

I refuse to upgrade OS installs. Reformat and fresh install only. Upgrading is just asking for trouble.

Also, I never upgrade until years after the new one is out.

Windows XP ran fine for years while Vista plagued homes and businesses alike. Once Win 7 was stable, I made the move. Windows 8 and it's upgrades didn't do anything for me, so we'll just have to see how 10 goes. I use virtual machines for all the old OSes (including DOS) that I abandon because occasionally I need to run old software that just won't run on my latest machines.

I've been running a dev build on my personal computer for a few months now. Gotta love dual boots. W10 def has its fair share of issues. And most things won't get patxhed for 4-6 weeks knowing Microsoft. But anything is better than W8 on my work PC. And we need a test rig anyways for the office for all our custom programs and vpn software.

Browser is cool. Password sharing is shady as ****. Chrome absolutely blows currently. Steam works flawlessly. No issues with graphics drivers so far. Got rid of auto updates, but was really tricky to do. Security is roughly the same for normal end user stuff.

 about your gf being a great chef. honestly when i was younger before marriage, i couldn't stand gf's that couldn't cook worth a dogdamn. u'd probably laugh, but one of the first questions i asked my wife when we met was if she could cook. :icon17:

dats where we would've separated if she said no. there are many pretty girls out there, but not so many pretty girls that can actually cook. :D

my wife is a great chef. my kid gets all the training from her. i think she can be a professional chef if she wanted to be, but getting up early am to go to the market to buy stuff is not really her lifestyle. :icon17: she prefers to work late nights and sleep in.

Hahhahahhaa!!! awesome bro... honestly i cant be with a girl that dont know how da fck cook... for that i preferred stay alone and just be like Mr Grey of 50 shades of Grey hahaha!! hang out with girls and make them sign a contract loooooooool!!

But reality is that i taste my GF food before ask her to be my GF loooool! 7 year to the day and i think i would marry her soon

Mine is the same way. And you begin to take it for granted after a while. But dating 17+ women and only 3 were decent cooks speaking volumes. My GF will go to the market and local vendors for fresh produce and meats. She isn't afraid to adjust different things to old recipes and loves to experiment. It's refreshing and she loves it. It's the girls who think making scrambled eggs in the microwave that scare me.
