I have been waiting a year for September. I get to make my seasonal hard apple cider. This time I am going to experiment with some spices to make a spiced apple cider @ 10% ABV ish.

Not even close you unsophisticated Roofus!! Pepsi is best served at 42F +/-3 degrees. Also.... Ginger beer is a slight addiction.

A small smorgasbord of grillings I have undertaken. Nothing spectacular. Nothing too difficult as I work to learn the particulars of this grill.

1. Burgers for dinner. I particularly like the column formed :icon17:

2. Southside Market (Elgin) sausage. Apologies that there are no after photos of the sausage; we were too busy eating :yum:

3. Today's spread for the family. The marinade for the chicken and the beef (different) was delicious thanks to my lovely wife, Melody :)


After hosting family, we both headed to the office so she could help out with some financial stuff. The we had what we decided to call a "weekendcap": an appetizer and a few adult beverages on the way home. I certainly prefer more relaxed weekends, but it was a good one nonetheless :tup:

coke classic (sugar mofo) <= only when there is no diet pepsi.
diet pepsi

all others takes like crap, including diet coke.

new coke tastes like crap

chinese coke i had tasted like crap

tab tastes like extreme medicine crap.

What about that Pepsi Crystal? Has cane sugar or something.

so the only REAL cola is Diet Pepsi. :D
