Acts like dead battery, it's not, it's something else. Will not even crank. Acts like a short when I twist the key. All lights go off. I wonder if the starter is dead or if the relay is dead. Hmmm. Taking it to the shop. There is other stuff needs to be done as well.

u sure it's not an almost dead battery? does it make clicking sounds? i'd try jumping it first. i suppose you could check the starter motor fuse too while ure at it.

yah, for some reason my G has killed over 8-9 birds through 11yrs of ownership (35k miles). my Z has killed a squirrel. :ugh:

The battery that was in it was about 8 years old, 1 year beyond warranty. I have a booster I tried first with no luck. A shorted battery cell can cause problems like this, or has in the past. Replaced it thinking that would take care of it. New Diehard is running 12.5+ volts. No clicking. Still does not turn over.

No time to deal with it this week and I need the truck Saturday to pick up a set of Volk TE37 SL wheels with a set of RE-11's on them. Off to the shop it goes.
