Just got back from the ER. Always better to own and know how to sharpen a Chefs knife until it's razor edged instead of using a dull blade. Sliced clean through my left thumb down to the bone. Dr says it was the cleanest cut he had ever seen. Only bad thing was it was right at the knuckle.
So 6 stitches and a weeks worth of antibiotics later... I'm all patched up. Tetnis shot honestly is hurting me more than that stitches. Gf is still in shock as to how calm and collected I was. She was freaking out and running all over, I just wrapped and held pressure as tight as possible. We get to the ER and the nurse asks if she's ok because she was shaking so bad. Yet here I was screwing around asking if they could wheel me in on a stretcher. |
3 days later after 13 hours of effort I am finally done (minus the glass sealant and a few rubber seals that could use some Super VRT). I just managed to get a few quick shots before my camera died. However, I need to go to the store for dinner, so I will have to post them after we eat. Keep your eye out for some before/after shots in the On Topic thread
Enjoy your Sunday evening everyone :tiphat: |

Glad to hear you're stitched up, though I'm kind of disappointed that I can't call you stumpy. |

Ms Pint... do you know anything about mirrorless cameras? I'm looking at the Sony a6000... it's lighter than my Canon SL1 but I'm not sure if pictures will come out as nice?
