I bought the 24mm pancake on Saturday to play with. So far it's ok. I need to find a baby to practice some photos on. :icon17:

Just ok? Not impressed, or just need better subjects? Use a giant photo of someone and practice on it with the new lens.

I played with the "wide angle" aspect last night a bit. These aren't great but I wasn't in the mood to walk around in the heat.

24mm pancake? What is this, some kind of diet mini pancake? That's just wrong. I cannot support this product. :shakes head:

You just reminded me... Some lady walked by my kitchen window yesterday with 2 dogs on leashes. She also had a camera with a zoom lens on it on a strap, around her neck.

I asked my wife "Do you think she's going to post the results on ratemypoop.com or something?"

Also those pictures are pretty kick ***.

You have a eye for art.

Leingod 08-03-2015 12:08 PM

Not bad at all for random shots!! Focal points are still wicked sharp in the dark! On a cropped sensor, that's phenomenal for the length.

Leingod 08-03-2015 12:10 PM

How many miles can I get out of the Z before "empty" is truly empty? I meant to refill yesterday, but never got a chance. Went on lunch and forgot my credit cards. Left screen on dash is reading "---" and my nav screen says 24 miles left. I never let my cars get this low. Hypermilling the mile to the closest gas station after work. They better have 93! Crappy 91 blows.

I agree. It's as bad as those silver dollar size pancakes from IHOP. :icon17:

Around the time he gave me DLC for a video game and I bought him a copy of Goat Simulator. Yea.....

I'm going to grab some large boxes from USPS tonight. $17 flat rate shipping. Let me see how many bottles I can fit in one and if you need oil, I'll send you a sheet and ship it out. $21 in store is $4 for me. Scott is just an awesome generous guy helping with my detailing adventures while cleaning out his garage!! :rofl2:
