I'm still trying to figure out if I'm looking into a curved mirror or not 0_o HOLY WOW!!!!

I feel severely stupid now for my detailing job. Mine is now officially BAD. I retract my previous statement about it not being to bad.

That's seriously amazing work!! Mirror/chrome shine to it. I guess that is what I expect from using all these different products and researching like crazy as how best to apply everything.

Mine looks like a weekend detailing project. Yours looks like a piece of art.

Leingod 07-31-2015 12:16 PM

Ugh... I've got so much research and testing to do to EVER get that good at making things shiny. And I NEED to own a darker car next time.

Leingod 07-31-2015 12:18 PM

Going through Spotify making random playlists for the 3 hr Z trip tomorrow.

That is black paint, always looks amazing when freshly detailed.

True. Maybe I'll go see if that guy around my city wants to trade his 40th for my base. Darker greay at least. haha. Genius wanted 38k for it.

Toyota is pushing the "paint protection" crap hard. They want to sell us a lifetime once-a-year thing for like $900.

Probably will happen with most rotors after washing and letting the car sit for a while. A couple fun twisty roads and they will be free of rust again

I forgot who made them for my Cobalt, but they had a beautiful matte black coat over the high hats on the rotors. Never saw rust in any water or rain. Loved those things. Now I'm gonna go insane until I remember the name.

Forward the phones to your cell and go now  When someone calls, tell em to yank out the power cord and plug it back in. works for me.

Boss is right next to me and we used digital based clock in/out. Can't escape so easily. I have always wondered if my boss would notice if I left early while still clocked in and simply clock out by remoting in at home later on.

I will call in a ticket, you can go "work" on it and then just leave, remote in and clock out.

I'm overly judgmental of myself and feel I can always do better. Especially after seeing Madwi's photos of his detailing projects.

Thank you for the compliment though. Def helps for an ego boost and wanting to get right back at it.
