Anyone want to clean the glass on my car? I hate doing glass. Especially the interior of windshield.
I bought a couple "glass" MF towels that are normal on one side and smooth on the other. We will see if they work or not. Did I mention I hate cleaning the glass? |

for me the trick is to spray the glass in very fine mist (for windshield i place my towel on the dash before i spray) and wipe. i tried the spray into towel first and wipe technique decades ago when i didnt know any better like a dumbarse newb asking wtf offset means or some shitthead asking wat pcd is, but it's not consistent enough for me. |

griot's window cleaner is just a combo of distilled water and alcohol. it leaves behind no residue or spots if ur dash is clean. cant say that about f-ktard garbage like windex and others. :ugh2: |

who the f- uses armorall and windex?

btw, dont use Prima Clarity on ur car's glass or stove tops. okay on LCD's and glass tables, lenses.
first it takes away EVERYTHING and leaves behind a catchy grippy feel. :icon08: ur wipers will hop ur stoves will scratch from the regular towels (no slickness, no lubricity) best bet, just use your own combo of distilled water + rubbing alcohol mix, or griot's WindowCleaner. no other detergent needed. |

I should just order one of everything from Griots lol. Everything I have tried so far I really like. Hmm, maybe I will run to autozone and see if they have a small bottle of it. *Shudder* windex, terrible streaky shite. |
like a toilet, keep the glass clean frequently and cleaning will go easier. yes, i am a fortune cookie.
"Clean glass always, like a squeaky toilet" post-EW type glass cleaning will require new car. :ugh: |

i LOL'ed at folks raving about using f-king newspaper to clean the glass... :bowrofl: why stop there, just use spit. lol |
u see a lot of those ghetto cleaning jobs at cheap car forums with old/middle aged losers that want to preach how they did things (all wrong).
:gtfo2: loser! |
boy, when i was ur age, i used toilet paper to clean the tire sidewall.
worked great, just white stuff all over which just washes away the rain. :ugh2: wtf old man, die already. |

why bother using a $150 ratchet and deep socket when you can remove wheel lugs using a pair of Stanley pliers on sale at $2.99 at Target! :gtfo2: |
Toothbrush on glass

i also lol at folks calling themselves "car enthusiasts" when their tool box looks like a all for $0.99 box at the checkout line at Sears hardware. :ugh:

but a scarce minority! |
even my rc tool box dont use habor freight tools... :ugh:
problem with junk tools is that it breaks fasteners and strip heads. |
btw, lein great job on removing your stock knob scratch free.
great idea on wrapping it with masking tape and duct tape. ill remember that trick next time. need to use a whole roll (check!) |
I have a few things from HF. My roller stool and detailing cart work great.

Windex is OK for glass, so long as you never get it on any kind of plastic or vinyl, or the paint, or um... OK why not just use diluted vinegar or Glass Plus instead. :ugh2: |

i hate windex. i dont use it for anything. that blue color dries solid and stains in the nooks. vinegar smells like shitt in the car. real simple... distilled water and rubbing alcohol mix. that is all that is needed. |
