So what is that thing anyway?

It looks like it could be an asscrack, or maybe some boobs.

I'm guessing it's boobs?

I mean, I've seen boobs before but they didn't look like that :icon23::icon23:

This is the six million dollar question (not sure who pays out).

I believe it is supposed to be an a$$. Many think it looks more like cleavage.

JARblue 05-27-2015 04:38 PM

I've been looking for wheels for you, Tracie. But man there's nothing around here. Found some 18x8s from salvage yard for $150 apiece (think they were from a 350Z)

I was thinking about getting one of the titanium NISMO knobs to get rid of some of the "softness" of the stock knob but I tend to not actually grab the knob but more guide it/palm it, and I don't think I would like the straight sides.

It's what i am use to. An actual stick feels weird to me, but the baseball stock knob is just unwieldly to me. I prefer 8-ball/egg shaped. Fits my hands better. Pretty sure you don't like anything anyone does :rofl2:;)

If you have to fist the knob.....something is VERY wrong

yah, the nismo ti knobs are too narrow. but at least the top is cylindrical so it's not a bad feel when shifting.

if it's a sphere knob it's fine, but that's an egg (oval) shaped knob which is narrow at the top.. :ugh: but u might be okay with it.

i gave it away to some kid locally.

kenchan 05-27-2015 05:53 PM

honestly the stock z knob is not bad at all.

It's to big for my taste. I prefer something just slightly bigger than a golf ball.

Yeah it works for me. I guess if it was a lot easier to remove I might be more inclined to replace it. :icon17:

Well there's your problem... You're not supposed to taste it.

I don't even think I could get it in my mouth. :ugh:

According to Ken, the 350s won't work for us. :(

Everyone is asking $600+ for BASE wheels and tires. :wtf:
I had one guy offer me his but then said he didn't have any other wheels for his Z. Lol. :wtf: again

I'm so frustrated with this.

here's a link to the 350z factory wheel offsets.

Wheel Specifications - Nissan 350Z & 370Z Wiki

i suppose if you get rear 15mm spacers they *could* work since they are narrow wheels. the front will be pretty flush on the 9" widths.
the 8" ET30 wont look too bad. the rear will need spacers though.
