That's an even better idea!!!

kenchan 07-09-2015 07:25 AM

Id keep the hood unpainted and just lower and wheelz. Also a mine's rear lip & some sort of front splitter. :D

There is no front splitter for the 13+ that I like. So I decided to go with the fujimura front bumper with CF grille area and LEDs. I don't want to over do the CF lol. Fujimura side blades and rear diffuser also CF.

I need to start looking into wheels and I have Swift springs sitting here in a box already

CF and metallic grey. Not sure how it would blend well. I'm using Mr. gale's Z as a template. Right now it's standing at Z1 400hp kit, Fuji side flipper blades, Seibon NS style wing, INGS+1 front lip, 20/25mm spacers, and some random diffuser.

I think it would be fine. I sure like the INGS+1 splitter

Wheels are a completely different story. They're tricky for this car. Only one's I've truly liked are the FS's and Kens.

Yeah, I keep going back and forth on wheels. Saving that pain in the *** choice for last lol. I promised myself no wheels until I need new tires lol. Hoping to get 20K out of the stockers :icon17:

Same. IT's the smart thing to do. I've been starting some research for offsets, camber crap, and other stuff. Especially since I don't have the sport package. Which means the rotors look smaller and will make the new wheels look huge in comparison for anything over 18'.

I am just going to ask Kenchan what offsets I should get when the time comes :icon17:

if lowered i dont know exactly.. but considering im at ET40 with 19x9.5 on the front with the nismo's i'd do something like 19x9.5 ET28-30 but if aggressive closer to ET25 range.

for the rear, probably go with something like 19x10.5 ET10 or something if lowered considering my 19x10.5 ET15 on my weds look flush already, need to compensate some aggressiveness due to neg camber when lowered.

just a thought though, can't advise if those are good numbers. but thats where i'd probably target. :D

kenchan 07-09-2015 07:58 AM

if using different widths, those ET's dont apply.

:icon17: hahaha! photochop is definitely the way to go to get some concepts.

Leingod 07-09-2015 08:02 AM

Googling what ET stands for now.... I know junk about wheels, offsets, camber arms, anything. How I changed the springs in my Cobalt years ago still astounds me I didn't break anything.

njobe89 07-09-2015 08:04 AM

estimated time duh

Leingod 07-09-2015 08:05 AM

All I know ET for is the movie and extended tips for turbos.

actually those wheels would look good on a juke i thinks, also compact sedans.

I actually have the TSW Mallory wheel for my winter tires. They were closest to the factory Nismo wheels. The build quality of the wheel is good, not sure I would use them on a Z for daily driving though.
