I did an HID swap in my eclipse, it was pretty neat.. I went with a Phillips kit, it ran me about $200.. This was several years ago, i'd imagine the kits are cheaper nowadays.

Not really. My shitivic didn't even come with a navigation screen or XM radio. And that stupid thing was 24k.

Speaking of rep time ... Mr. EW, could you please tell me the time of my last rep to you? I would be most grateful if you were able to accommodate this request, and I offer you this photo I took on my recent excursion to Chicago as a token of my sincere appreciation :tiphat:

As long as it's not one of those half-a$$ed conversion kits that still blinds everyone on the road. Make sure it's a full conversion.

Yes. You should  :postwhore:

absolutely, a total plug & play job.. just make sure you buy a good kit, and know what your looking for as far as bulb discharge, there's different ratings. (color of the light, for ex. yellow, to bright white, to blue, to purple).

That is no fake. There was no smell across Michigan Avenue, so the building must have been vacant. I guessing it is because Mr. EW was not present at the time, so no professor to teach ;)

Its easily an hour to 2 hour job, if you take your time. Just make sure you get a good kit, I'd stay away from that china garbage.

very easy. plug and play. Maybe screw with a ballast or 2 so something doesn't catch on fire. Did it to my cobalt years ago. I'd stay at or under 8k though. texas can prolly get away with more, but here in NY. If you're over 6k, you'll get pulled over every other night. I hated trucks running un-leveled deep blue HID's.

Phillips made a good kit, but honestly there could be other kits that are just as good, I did this upgrade, 6 to 8 years ago. So im not sure whats good now, a good rule of thumb is to go with a name brand kit..
