Diet is more crucial than exercise. I'm lazy in general, so I should at least eat better. My size 32 are tight on me. That has never happened before. I miss my size 30's....

5'9 ish. Wish i had friends to go to the gym with late at night. I'd feel more motivated to go.

Well it obviously doesn't help. Hence why I get up and walk around constantly. I can't sit for 8 hrs a day staring at a screen. And the more I work I.T., the less I want to be around tech or my phone after hours. It's fun being outside.

160 isn't bad then lol and you honestly get the best workout when you go alone. when i go with friends it takes two or three times as long to finish and there is more clowning around then lifting. when i go alone, i know what i have to do. i do it and go home. you can always ask for someone to spot you if you're lifting heavy.

That's the thing for me. If I don't have someone forcing me to go, I have no motivation for it. Nor do I know what to really do with any of the bigger machines or even just correct movements when using weights. If I do go, I usually just run for an hour.

it's a forum. you can search for workouts and they have even videos to tell you how to do the lifts. you just have to push yourself. start of lite, just to start working out and then as you progress start adding a little weight.

I still have an old account on that site haha. I think some of it is feeling judged when the guy with scrawny arms and a stomach attempts to workout. And I do have that offset mentality of feeling fatter than I really am.

you got to start somewhere... you'll never be the weakest or the strongest. get some headphones and play music. go into your own world and do your workout.

Old routine of 5x5 should be a good place to start. I do miss it. Just the motivation and daily occurrence kills it. I miss being 140 though haha. To the gym it is!

low repetition is for bulking up, opposite of what you want lol. the 5 sets is good. do 5 sets of 10-15 reps of low weight if you want to tone up / cut up. 5x5 is for winter, heavy weight.

Whatever the hell just loses weight hahahaha. I'm not into the massive muscles or "gainz". I might get pissed if I begin gaining weight from muscle. (horrible messed up mentality, I know)

otherwise, I am sticking to eating clean. Not even trying to have coffee anymore. No more energy drinks or taco bell. Home cooked, low amount munches, and basic breakfast.

yah, im pretty lazy myself. only exercise i do are basic stretching, sit ups and pushups every morning, and some biking (as soon as my allergies calm down :mad: ) i am more fit in the summer months as i am more active with my car and just goofing off with the kids outside.
