yeah the sites are pretty easy to understand. I think e-trade has 60 days of commission free trades so you have a bit more freedom in making moves and not paying the $10 commission on each buy/sell.

Understanding what to invest in and how to study companies and take chances on speculative companies is much much harder. You can be safe with large companies and not lose too much money and you will most likely make some. But the smaller riskier plays will make you more.

I really do suggest watch Jim Cramers show on cnbc. He at least explains how to look at companies and the market in general. I dont suggest taking all his advice but he does make it kinda simple.

I inherited a broker from my father with a beneficiary IRA that has a decent amount in it, but not huge. He manages it and I use blind faith. He was great for my dad, and its money I never had anyways.

My 401k, I do mostly index funds, but the broker helped me allocate a little better than I was doing.

I understand all the ins and outs of the market, but don't have the time or interest, other than putting 20% of my pay away every month.

nah check out our website www.texasstateselectsoftball.com. We had an investor but the backed out and never bought the machine! Probably not the place to post that but oh well.

RoadZter 12-30-2011 05:53 PM

We are trying to buy 2 virtual batting machines from probatter.com. Would be the only facility here and our surrounding area that has them.

RoadZter 12-30-2011 06:02 PM

Yeah female sports are big down here. Especially fastpitch softball and basketball. Mainly because they can be played year around. Heres the machine we are trying to pick up.

Here's a pic of our girls at the 2011 Christmas Party. We have about 80 registered right now. It's at the facility that has no machines!!
