Cell phones are a lot more convenient than having to find a land line every time you need make a call. Have they really made life worse?

I will respond on behalf of all the other military personnel both Canadian and US that have HAD to give up both for up to year or more. Think about that the next time you thank a veteran! Nuff said, it's good to be home...

I guess some of that depends on what you do for a living. If you're a burger flipper, then I'm sure they are awesome. If you're someone who has to answer your phone and Emails in your off hours, and on vacation, then they aren't so awesome. So yes, they have made life worse.

I get emails after hours and phone calls on my cell phone constantly and am expected to respond quickly. The only time it is allowed not to is when you are on vacation, and if they really want to be cruel if you say you are on vacation Thursday & Friday but do not say Saturday/Sunday they can call you and say you have to respond.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the majority of that 19% of male respoondents haven't been getting laid in a while, so they figured no worse for the wear.

With the women -- who knows. They can shove the cell phone in their cooch, put it on vibrate and just keep calling themselves and not have to deal with anybody's bullsh!t.

Cell phone for sure. I get all sorts of wierd calls, as well as the work related ones. Unfortunately, I will have to give both up in the near future for said time, damn.........
