It looks like it is going to clear, but cold here today...

I am hoping my flights cooperate.

We are getting to the time of when we experience weather from all 4 seasons in 1 week here. It was in the 70s yesterday and will be in the 30s tonight. High of 40s tomorrow and then in the 60s for the weekend. Rain comes down as if it's queued by a light switch.

Stay safe.

A few bridges iced over because we got rain last night before the freezing temps hit. Supposed to be above freezing in about an hour. Area schools and government agencies are all closed for the day lol

I am heading into the office now :driving:

You know it's interesting where I work...they are never closed...ever. So if you can't make it in, it's a vacation day. What's odd to me about that is when I worked for Cingular and later Wachovia - if there were weather issues and you couldn't make it in, it was a paid day out of the office and didn't affect your vacation. I guess it's b/c we have immature people here who would just take advantage of the situation.

Now, I work in IT distribution and while it befuddles me that we can't work remotely anyway, I can't imagine that our office in California can't handle extra load when it's too bad to make it in the office here.

I'm still in bed lol. The lack of updates on ice isn't helping.

Sun is out... there's no more ice...

drivetexas.org will tell you any roads with ice. All I see is a little stretch of 183 over near me. But just stick to the frontage road and no issues.
