Greetings, everyone. I am flying soon, hoping the rain and thunder dissipates.

Does Jet Blue still hand out those Terra blue chips as snacks? I'd literally book a flight to nowhere just to get some of those chips!

Yea, both of those aren't really practical for everyday family needs. Older Subbie Impreza hatch? Although they'll be pricey. Cheapest I've seen is 18k with some rough miles on it.

I did test drove a Chevy Sonic RS a few days ago though just for the hell of it. The rear seats are a little to small, but perfect for kids. And it hauls rather well since it's lightweight. I found a 2014 LT version with 3k miles for 14k around me. So that's def a viable chea option for you to look into.

Honestly I really still have my heart set on either a Sentra or a Juke Nismo. I've already got an inquiry into Fast Intentions for a Juke exhaust lol. :shakes head:

We just started discussing a house too since our credit is back where it needs to be for a USDA loan. Yay, growing up......

I do not fly Jet Blue, only Delta. Jet Blue has no first class and also does not go where I go.

I am at 81 flights this year and counting...

how about a honda fit? :ugh: mine was $19K cash otd for the 5MT sport back 3yrs ago. no issues, extremely practical, and pretty fun to drive actually. i got swifts, tanabe muffler, and some generic 16x7 wheels with DWS. oh, and a double-din HU, intermittent wiper mod, some others. i cant remember.. like factory door sills, factory cf trim, factory leather knob, etc. which i added later.

Something about the dash/windshield of the new Hondas makes me feel like I'm driving a bubble. A former work acquaintance had a Fit and while it was roomy, I couldn't see myself getting one.

I feel the same way in my Civic! Feels like I'm driving out a glass upside down bathtub!

I did buy the Z though because it was my first dream car. Was looking at either a WRX or Z. Had nothing to do with egotistical mentality. Although it is really really really nice being the only one in my city to own a Z.

:rofl2: yah, there's hell of a lot more to life than just showing off some material things.

but i do like small boxy cars too. im still thinking i might get the abarth, not to replace the Z btw. nor the G for that matter i guess. wish i had more space to park.

for me the glass is fine, but that THICK a-pillar they started using on the honda's block my view sometimes. i dont like that. visibility wise and overall driving dynamic is good for a cheap car.

speaking of bubbles, pretty much any hatch will be like driving a bubble for its boxy shape. i dont mind it, as u can tell. :D But i do mind it taking it down the expressway on a windy day. :ugh:

Yeah, if the Sentra Nismo would just go into production, that'd be great.

honestly mspint, these cars in the segment are pretty much the same status regardless of how they market it. ie: u just waste more money on a car u wont get any respect for anyway.

that said, i would get the regular sport trim and save the extra money for a rainy day for your family. :D

kenchan 05-14-2015 11:33 AM

like u can get a civic-si and still be at the same classification as a honda fit... aka cheap car segment. or even worse, leave an image of a cheap car that's trying too hard.

I know. :( I'm looking at the Sentra SR with the sun roof installed. It's still a pretty penny though.
