I used to eat candy and ice cream a lot. Even into my 30s. As I started to get less active, it really started to show. Now I am trying not to eat that stuff (or fast food), and I am doing a 30 min daily workout routine. Occasionally I will mess up, but I'm not looking for quick results. So missing a workout session on Sat/Sun or eating some candy at the movies is ok with me. As long as it doesn't become habit

lol I should have taken a picture of my Z today on the way to the post office. I had a 5' long box in the hatch with an exterior a-pillar in it. Passenger seat was all the way forward with the seat vertical, and the box just barely fit

I took one right turn a little fast (it's sharper than 90 deg turn) and was whacked in the noggin by it. Thankfully, the box with packaging was barely over 7 lbs. I just saw it as a little test for the USPS delivery guy :icon17:

Drove the Z into work tonight. On the way in there was a church van full of HS aged kids breaking their necks looking at the Z. Pulled into the lane next to them, dropped to 4th and put the hammer down. Many thumbs up out the windows of the van.

yah, as long as you feel good and not tired, want to get off your butt and do something, keep active, etc. then you're fine i thinks.

when wife and i had kids we lost that time to exercise and be real active.. the constant attention to babies, feeding them, taking care of them, etc it just tires us parents out. then a nice quiet snack time  usually puts the nails in the coffin as far as getting fat goes. :icon17: i went up 7 waist sizes when my kids were small. :ugh2:

coming back from xmas break, my boss at the time was like 'ken-san WTF happened to you?! u're FAT! :icon08: :rofl2:

i was like ... oh? :icon17: then i lost all that weight and fat again. :p im slim now, just a little :ugh: belly fat i need to work off biking... :eekdance:

i was pretty damn fat and chunky when i waz a kid. :ugh:

kenchan 04-29-2015 06:52 PM

there is one indian kid that is EXTREMELY persistent in wanting to get my attention for my G and Z. he always compliments my cars and shows excitement. i was about to let him check out my car...

until this sob left a bag of rocks on my lawn for no f-king reason. how do i know? cause i got 3 streaming videos of the kid throwing this bag on my lawn and just riding off. :shakes head:

next time he came by while i was working on my car with my kid, i told the little shittt why he did wat he did. he tries to deny it. :ugh2: i pointed at the camera on the upper level of the house and he was like :eekdance:

:icon17: I am SOOO glad we didn't have cameras when I was a kid lol.
I sure love them now though. I like to check on things while at work and see who or what is creeping in the yard.

yah, should check out my post over at msbc's 'thankful for' thread.

i got an email from my porch camera that usps arrived with my box with my new rc car inside. i didn't know it was signature required, the usps lady left with the box and im sitting at the office looking at my smartphone :eekdance: wtf...

so i drove my 30min trip home and the usps was still going through the community with passing out the mail :rofl2: how SLOW can she be??! :icon17:

so i grabbed that orange card they leave behind, chased her down like a block away in my car and signed for the package. :rofl2: at least used their turtle-like delivery to my benefit this time. :D

Wow, that is some slow delivering :icon17:
Mine must want to get home cause she is like a ninja, no packages there one second, next thing freezer has like 10 boxes sitting on it and not a soul in sight :icon17:

:rofl2: hahaha!

if mine tired to do that, they'd probably leave their entire truck load on my driveway and call it a day. :ugh:

that's how unreliable usps is in my area. :shakes head:

i get neighbors walking up to me on weekends (im usually outside) handing me packages and mail they got by mistake. :icon08:
