I ended up using 90* needle nose pliers to hold it in place while I pushed with tip of fingernail to get it in lol.

Finished my rear view camera/mirror install, almost.
My cousin works at gentex and got me this mirror a couple years ago. I am just getting to installing it now. Install was so freaking easy, I should have done it way sooner.
Thanks Mr. Kenchan for some old posts where you actually posted useful material :icon17: wiring was easy to find with those threads.
Hard to see and camera is just hanging out of hatch at the moment, ground is too cold to lay on tonight lol.

wat are the offsets? that is key in not making your car look like a donky-mobile. :icon17:

when I make the purchase, I will also be purchasing lowering springs (1-2 inches) i'll want the 19 by 11 in the rear and 19 by 9.5 in the front for the M510's.

and the lowering springs will also be purchased, I went down and did some measuring with the car and the dip at the end of my driveway and even with the lowering of 2 inches or so it'll clear it, a big sigh of relief so I CAN get the springs now.

(eibach lowering springs)
