What a nice drive! Not driving it all winter sure does make the heart grow fonder. Warmed her up with some slow, winding, back country roads. Then when at temp for a bit, rowed through the gears and enjoyed the windy, country roads :driving: Didn't dare to push the corners too much really though. It is still low 40's, but it was nice to stretch her legs a bit. Filled up with fresh premium 93 before heading home.
A very good way to spend the Saturday morning.

I am now second guessing if I really want to paint the hood. I was standing in line at the gas station and looked out the window and it sure looked good sitting there in its c/f awesomeness. I might clear the whole thing first and leave it for the year and think about painting it the following year if I get sick of it. Decisions, decisions.

yah, i would keep it CF. you'll probably want to get UV protection though if you're going to leave the car out in the sun for long periods at a time.

for cars like mine, no need for UV protection, just a good coat of wax or sealant will do.

I might just do that for this year then. It lives in the garage and I have a cover for it too now. Even if I drive it to work it is at night so it sees an hour or two of sunshine at max

Weather is too nice to be spent indoors today! Removed base model rear view mirror and mounted new mirror with LCD screen for backup cam. Ran wires to the A-pillar. need to look up a DIY guide to removing them lol.
