I see the first post, midwest US, 2.89 a gallon of premium... in 2009.

It's 2012 now and the price for premium is almost universally over 4 dollars. Paid 4.298 per gallon at one of the cheapest local BP's. Bought 30 dollars worth and got just short of 7 gallons.

$3.72 yesterday for me.

MMC Racing 10-08-2012 07:55 AM

Paid $4.69 for regular filling up the DD yesterday for the week. The Z is good for another week or so - maybe prices will retreat by then with the refinery back online and the governor pushing to allow winter blend early.

Well everyone is goin to take it in the @$$. I just heard on news radio that the Chevron refinery is going to be offline for the rest of the year. So yeah gas prices will be over $6 by the end of the month...just a fyi. I have a feeling a lot of us will be getting rid of these sports cars for a gas sipper.
