Being around the great lakes helps quite a bit for me, in terms of gas prices. Also find a place with 93 close to me, so I'll advice on that next time I fill up.

We've had a sanction on Iranian Oil for some time now. The new sanction is to force the rest of the world to stop using it. You are right about the middle east though.

I've got bad news

Gas doubled in just 3 years & our President says there are no quick fixes. So unless some changes are made, just bend over cause gas will continue going up.....

Oil up $4.25 today, to $110 per barrel. Gas should jump another 10-25 cents. No accupy movements?

that's their plan.

Nick911sc 03-01-2012 03:28 PM

I just paid $4.25 for premium

Spikuh 03-01-2012 03:58 PM

So I just did some quick math comparing 12,000 miles a year at 25 mpg at fuel costs of $1.50 (10 years ago) and $4.00.

At the $1.50 mark it would be $720 a year for gas and at $4.00 its $1,920 for gas.

I want my $1,200 back.

I think if someone wanted to push green energy, then we need $10 per gallon gas as a start, & $30-$40 per gallon to get it going. I'm not naming names. :shakes head: & afraid.

Oh yes, they want to raise taxes on the oil companies. That should speed up the race to $10.

andre12031948 03-03-2012 09:40 AM

Good news !!!!

In his weekly radio & online address Saturday(today) Obama said Detroit automakers are on track to build cars that average nearly 55 miles per gallon by 2025, doubling current mileage standard.

"That means folks will be able to fill up every 2 weeks instead of every week, saving typical family $8,000 at the pump everytime," he said.

Well by 2025 gas might be/will be over $20 per gallon. So how much are we going to save again ?????

Obanamics?

Mods, I know I'm pushing it. If you tell me to stop I will. (please give me a warning before banning me) Might get a new 370z :)

I'm just mad that we are getting screwed from ALL sides. There is more gas availible then we need, yet the prices are going crazy up, & there's nothing we can do about it.

All I know is the gas issue is way bigger than our president. That's a corporate greed issue and our president can only control so much of our economy. Whoever controls commodities and futures controls the world. A president is just a symbol for us to BLINDLY focus on. Whether republican or dem.

$4 a gallon in tx. What a fkin joke. Slavery is no longer on the cotton field. Its at the supermarket and gas pump. This time, the slave master is the corporations, the overseer is green and the slaves are multiracial.

True BUT,
We don't vote for corporations! We vote for people to represent us! That's all we have! Also, are our elected officials representing us???? Are they pushing agendas that hurt us? Looks like they want oil/gas to go up. We blamed govt. in the past, why not now?????

I'm just frustrated/engry every time I gas up & it's a few pennies higher.
I'm venting....

There is enough blame to go around..It is not just the Government, or Speculators, or The Oil Companies, or the Big Banks, or by no means one man and his policies.. Sure we were told in 2008 that certain agenda's were going to be pushed,Gas prices, and that Printing and Spending would lead to ONLY one thing...Higher commodities due to the devalued dollar....A repeat of 2008..When going to just the gas station and the food store left you in shock...

It is worse now..I don't take sides, although i may have one, because i know that more than the rotten 535 politicians are at this...

Do you know that in the first 3 months of 2011, 5 of the largest U.S. Banks, made 55% profit on just their commodity portfolio's ? Just those guys. What did that do to the "recovery" ?

Throw in a failed policy fiscally and financially, and man we are in trouble..

If the two sides don't come together for the good of the people....We are in for worse before it gets better.

Sex & religion whackos from one side - liers, panderers from the other.

The biggest commody missing today is honest, intellegent, & petriotic leadership..

I'm done! The sun came out today & I want to enjoy it:)

more bad news

Watching the news. More regulation are coming to the natural gas industry. Must be because natural gas prices are at a ten year low:icon17: I mean really :wtf:
Since the other political party has a bunch of :nutswinger: running, it looks like higher gasoline prices for the next 5 years, or we go bust whichever comes first.
