Black Graphite LOADED:)
Picked up my Z a couple weeks ago. i friggin love this car! It keeps getting better. I went with the 370 instead of another Corvette since it will be a daily driver. I miss the low end torque, but this little guy cruises just fine. Mine was the showroom car, full dress with the touring package and every option available. I bought the spoiler and had it installed just for the look. Didn't want the sport package. For me the gains were not worth the loss in ride and abuse to me or the car. STILL don't have all the goodies figured out and probably haven't even found all the toys and options.
My only want at this point is a factory install remote start which as I understand is not even available..... |
congrats and welcome :tiphat:
now give us pics  |
What loss in ride? The added stiffness? LOL my 1992 300zx feels 100x stiffer than my G35 sport package which feels 100x stiffer than my Z w/ sport :)... I cant wait to stiffen her up more... going through the turns planted and w/out roll is wayy too important to me :)

LOL, well but I don't drive mine very hard. I have spinal cord damage that would cause me issues if it was too abusive. Don't get me wrong I have moments of "spirited" driving, but nothing that the touring package suspension isn't capable of supporting. Heck I even bought 6 years worth of warranty to be sure it stays just as it is now.
I have a Vette for going hard and it does so very well, at least well enough. Kinda shocked me really that the Z didn't out handle it. I will say that for city driving the Z is better suited for aggressive traffic cutting. I'll try to get some pics up. |

And my other ride
http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...d9fdb882e8.jpg by the time the numbers are worked out this car is 1 of 11 ever made. Pre-96 with an LT-4, performance axle, Admiral Blue, all the goodies:) http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...392d039a6a.jpg More pics = http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=2453723 |

I should add that I am all for using them for what they were made for. Cars like these are almost impossible to drive without putting your foot into. I give it to the guys that are running them on the track and doing very well with them.
i find the auto-stick on rather often. Too much damn fun:) |

Dude love the red! It's not really my style, but it's an incredible looking color on these things. My girlfriend was buying an infinity G37 Convertible in the vibrant red with graphite interior. Then I bought the Z. Now she is waiting until 2010 for the new Z roadster in the same color as yours I think. Friggin sparkly! |
Thanks :)
have you thought about any mods yet? |
Nah, I don't drive it to it's limits as it is. It's my daily driver not my race car(can't have those anymore). LOL, hell besides after nearly $2,000 for the extended warranty I'm not taking any chances of getting denied.
This is a good place to ask though. We own Hinrichs Machine and Mfg. a prototype aerospace machine shop. My dad is tired of doing gov't contracts and wants something short run and more fun. So I thought of this. I want to make "Z" emblems to replace all of the "Nissan" emblems on the Z's. they will be the exact same dimensions and outside shape, but with a Z inside instead of the bar and Nissan. They will install the same as well. Most will be polished aluminum, but we can color anodize on request. Would you and do you think anyone else would be interested? |

I'll give that a big yes! Price is important though, but your idea is fantastic! |
Well thank you. Price shouldn't be very high at all. production is fairly simple. Coating, coloring, or painting would be the toughest part.
|
Correct remote start is not rely even possible with the Z. To much stuff. I talked about it in another thread I will have to dig it up. Welcome to the forum.
