Just got it, and LOVIN' it!!!

Just got it about a week ago, and man do i LOVE it! Its about the 7th Z i've had, and to be totally honest, NONE of them have come close to how this automobile feels... and I've had a few of them really "juiced" with aftermarket parts, lol.

I test drove a couple of them, the 6 speed manual first and was SOLD just driving that one, but just to satisfy my curiousity i test drove the Auto/Manual with the "Tiptronic" bump shifter as well as the Paddle shifters on the wheel, and was totally blown away with that trans. ESPECIALLY the 7TH gear!

I ended up buying a 370Z with the "Sports Package" in Brilliant Silver with the Auto/Manual Trans. I'm sure you guys already know the options packages, so I won't elaborate, but the 19' Rays Alloys (245/40/19's on the front with 275/35/19's at the rear, Bridgestone Potenza's) along with the Sport suspension, makes this automobile one of the most surefooted I have EVER driven, and trust me I've driven MANY high dollar sports cars! :driving: (WAYYYY more expensive than this one)

Just wanted to find some NEW Z owners, because after having it a week and driving it around in L.A., I've only seen like 4 on the streets... thought that was a little odd, especially out here.

Congratulation and welcome! Thanks for your comparisons to other Zs and sports cars you've owned. Helps add context to the group concensus that this Z is the best yet.

Happy Birthday! My son is a Marine (Infantry). I'm 45 myself and recently retired from the USN. Enjoy the Z and thanks for your service! Ooh Rah!

Ooh Rah!, with a Semper Fi to go along with it. My MOS was different than your son's, but to go into what i ultimately wanted to do in the Corp i had to get an MOS "slash" of 0311, which is what your son is (Infantry) and believe it or not, they tease 0311's and call them "Grunts" but that is the BEST place to be in the Corps, especially nowadays, lol. He gets the very best training there is, and you can count on that! Thank him for serving the next time you guys speak, and tell him a "Gunny" (Gunnery Sergeant) said "Stay squared away".
