New Guy, Excited About His Baby

Hello!

I'm finally, finally getting some modifications to my Z! YAY!

I've got a 2011 magnetic black Z that I bought new back at the beginning of that year. It was a base model, and sadly, it is an automatic. Yes, I know... take away my man card for not getting a manual, but it was a good price at the time, I really wanted it, I wanted black and I didn't want to wait. I do miss the feeling of the manual (almost every car I've ever owned had a manual), but when I'm stuck in heavy traffic I don't regret it at all.

Anyway, my car is currently getting the following installed (I hope to have her back tomorrow, she's been away from me for almost a week)...

KW V3 coilovers
AP Racing Big Brake kit with ss lines
AAM Competition 2.5" True Dual Exhaust
AAM Competition High Flow Cats
Axis Angle 20-inch wheels (9 1/2 and 10 inch)
Hankook tires (255 front, 285 rear)
S-tune rear deck spoiler
rear Euro fog/brake light
blacked-out Nissan emblems
getting the door handles painted to match the body color
Pioneer Avic-z130 nav/head unit and more speakers and amps

And a Passport 9500ci radar detector for the cherry on top!

Just swung by and was looking at my baby and she's looking SOOOOO sweet! She's been dropped about an inch to get rid of that horrible gap. Clearance underneath looked good except for the exhaust (I'll have to be very careful with those). Had those underneath air-dams removed.

I was considering a few other things, but just couldn't convince myself that I really wanted them.

Throught about a body kit, the Amuse specifically, but I don't know, I really do like the clean look of the stock body. So I decided to skip it, at least for now.

I was also considering a Stillen dual cold-air intake, but I didn't like the idea of having to remove the front bumper every time I had to deal with the filters.

Anyway, I hope to have her back tomorrow and am VERY excited!

Serisouly awesome start. You must've done some research.

BTW, the 2.5 True Dual AAM w/AAM HFC's is orgasmic & one of my favorite sound combinations for our vehicle. Good choice!

Congrats and awesome mods......if you can back out on the CBE and have Fast Intentions instead of the AAM then it is a real win. Everything else is good to go.

I don't know, the AAMs sound really, really good to me. That was the reason I went with them.

My only regret at this point is lowering the car. I wish I hadn't done that. The car is my daily driver.

I'm dragging over most speed bumps now, although I can mostly mitigate that taking it really slow and going sideways. The biggest issue is driving fast (and it does not even have to be THAT fast really) and bottoming out the car over almost every dip in the road.

I'm thinking about getting the stock suspension put back on at this point.

Mine is my DD and I have kept the stock height for that very same reason...
It rides like butter with the stock suspension/
