Wicked! Helpful information guys - thanks!

I'm not too worried about the oil cooler, steering lock or anything small like that. I appreciate the heads up!

I think if I go this route, I'm going to be a bit subtle with the modification this time around. Ahh I hope the STI sells now :)

your not gonna be subtle with the mods, everyone says that, or they say they will do little to no mods (in most cases I believe em:icon17:) but the addiction to mods will be too great to stop. believe me. :tup:

LOL
I know.. I've been there many times.

So far the STI is 99% sold.
I'm looking around for a 370z now.

Once it's off the lot, I'm off to order some parts.
First off on the list is:
- KW Coils
- Wheels: Not sure which ones yet, but the few on my list are
* Work Meisters 3PC
* Weds Kranze
* Volk Ce28n

Later down the road, I'd like to do the amuse kit and just keep it dropped and "simple" haha

Welcome and I hope you can find a 370z that fits you. I love my car, only thing is I wish I had gotten the sports package.

haha really?

I mean, coming from what my STI looked like - that's subtle to me!

Originally I was looking at seeing if there was a voltex kit and wing that I could use.
Something like this -

But I think I just wanna do the low and wide look lol.

Thank you!
I hope so too - the debate between AT and MT is also weighing me down. I need to drive both - I wouldn't mind the AT if it were quick to shift and blip.

Sports package - that includes the big brakes and nav, I think?

Good luck with your search! I came from an Evo X. I got bored of the car pretty fast. I think because of how easy it was to drive. Also got very tired of the interior. I definitely made the right choice! The Z is much more refined and rewarding to drive, IMO.

Totally! I feel the Evo and STI share the same blandness.
Interior is quite cheap and boring. All you're really paying for is the power - which is kind of over priced considering you're not getting much more than that. Not hating on them, but after sitting in a 370z and looking at the similarity in price - you get quite a bit more in the Z.

The AT is a superior tranny, not just saying that because I have one, but as far as autos go, the 370z auto is really good, and as far as mods, well you figured that one out yourself. :icon17:

That's good to know! I was thinking about the AT yesterday and thought - "I might get bored of this and it might actually make me hate the car".

I don't think I'll be too picky in my searches between MT and AT. My preferences are still with the MT though.

I've been itching to drive one so bad! Just haven't had the time lately...

Nah never, the automatic is def useful for a daily like mine, I commute to work back to home, almost 45 mins. So for that, I dont wanna sit in traffic and shift gears.

But like you said def find time to drive both and pick the better option. :tup::driving:

I just go home when there's no traffic. :icon17:

I do as well, even at 6pm there is traffic on 95, coming up from Ny,

plus when I really need to step on it I have the paddles, and those never fail me. :tup: SO 7AT = best of both worlds for me. :D

hoanger 10-29-2012 04:22 PM

Alright I'm half convinced about the AT lol

I think I will try and make time this weekend to go try out both. I'll let you guys know how it goes!
Also - was kinda bored at work today so I made a pixel car of what I envision... :)
