Anyways, chalk it up as a lesson learned. How bad is the damage btw? Driving over a curb makes me cringe... That can mess up suspension components.

Depends lol. One night in my Z....it was raining really hard and any Z owner knows its IMPOSSIBLE to see in that car when its dark and raining hard. I hook a corner too close and jumped a curb LOL. **** got like 2 feet of air :icon18:

Needless to say it was ok.

Also, the safety thing is that you have to press in the clutch to start the car but remote starters bypass that and that's why your car took off.

Was any damage done to the car?

Yes, the entire underside is messed up. It tore off the cover plate messed up the bumper and a mud flap or whatever you all call them. I saw some metal that had been bent, I don't know what that goes to. I had the clear bra, or paint protection applied, that will have to be replaced too. I have not taken it to the dealer to have them put it on a lift to see what else is damaged. Ugghhh, I hate this. Look Guys, I am a woman. This is my dream car and I joined this forum to learn. I am so embarrased. As I said before, I didn't know they disengaged the clutch.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. If you're a manual driver unfamiliar with remote starting it happens. Best bet is to bring it back to the dealer and explain it to them if someone said that its not alright for them to install it in MT. It happens and it could have been much worse.

Being a woman or a man is no excuse...lol... Mistakes happen and we learn from it. Just be happy no one got any major injuries. Repair the Z and enjoy it!

Once we got the bushes and the cover plate out from under it, it didn't seem to drive abnormal. It's about 10 miles from where it happened and I had to drive on an interstate. I'm hoping it's all cosmetic. It just makes me sick.
