Greetings from San Jose -CA

Hi,

I have a 2012 370z sports package, 6 speed manual transmission, Brembo brakes, and factory default. I have not made any modifications on the car.

I love it, and apart from the constant tire changing (every 20k miles :() I have no issues at all.

I however need some advise about the head lights, I feel that they have gotten pretty dull and I am not sure if its the bulb itself or the light assembly/glass that is the issue, can someone please advise?

Welcome to the Z forum! What color is your Z?

You most likely have hazing built up on the headlights (they are 10 years old!) and can use a number of off-the-shelf headlight restorations kits available. Tape off your bumper, hood and any additional areas of paint and go to town wet sanding the headlights to remove the blemished finish. Example of an available kit: https://www.amazon.com/CERAKOTE-Cera...4086464&sr=8-7

Amazingly, off the shelf Turtle Wax Headlight restorer & protectant works very well (Green bottle). No sanding required. 2 Micro-fibers / 1 to apply and 1 to wipe off and buff. Should go from yellow and crusty to crystal clear. It worked for my 2013, should work for your 2012. You will literally see the yellow oxidation all over the micro fiber upon first application. Then just keep going at it until its clear enough for you to be satisfied.

congrats and how about some pics...
So how long have you had the car... with changing tires every 20K?

First off, thanks for all the helpful replies, I will try to restore them using the products mentioned.
My Z is pearl white color, I will share pics soon, I have had it since 2012, bought new, my cousin thinks the mechanic(wheelworks) might have fleeced me a little with an early tire change, however, the wear indicator bars were gone.

20K is decent mileage on summer performance tires. That's about the norm. If you want to get more mileage, move to a performance all-season lie the Michelin Pilot All Season 4

Change of plans. The injectors are fine. I ran logs and they are consistent bank to bank. It's probably a combination of me getting a tune in TX winter and installing a new OEM bumper (the stillen had an air duct).

Sent the logs to Seb so he can analyze them.

Welcome aboard! Tire wear sounds normal to me as well.
