370z Tuning/Hi-flo cats - Check Engine

Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum.
I have a 2016 370z done some exhaust modifications and I am super pleased with the sound but now I'm getting an engine code.

I have installed a Cat back exhaust from Fast intentions
with AAM COMPETITION 2.5" HIGH FLOW CATS

I am getting a engine code from the O2 sensors post Cat, I have tried the O2 senors extenders (high quality ones with different tip sizes) I have tried all 3 tip sizes that come with the extenders but still get the code.

I was recommended to have my car tuned or my highflo cats will be damaged over time but all the shops I call in the area don't work on Nissan.

Does anyone know a shop that tunes Z's in Vancouver B.C. or anywhere with in a 5H drive Canada or US ?

Thanks!

Greetings! I can’t help you on a tuner, I’m not from around those parts, but I can tell you you definitely need a tune after those mods. You might want to look into doing the intakes now since it will have to be tuned after that mod. Save you some time and dough not having to tune it twice.

Your cats won't be damaged or anything but a tune will maximize your gains from your mods plus the other benefits like fixing the stock throttle map, multiple fuel maps, data logging launch control..etc.. and the tuner can turn off your cel light as a bouns.
However, if your sole reason for tunning is getting rid of your cel, then you can get a j extension/defouler for your o2 sensors and it will take care of your cel without the need for a tune.

A believe 2015+ are more sensitive to the change to test pipes and more than likely to throw the CEL. Can still try the additional extensions though and see if that works for you.

As for tuner, I haven't done it myself, but if nobody is in your area to directly tune, you can reach out to a few well known tuners (SpecialtyZ, SOHO, Z1, and many others not named Admin Tuning:shakes head:) and get an e-tune.

those o2 bungs don't seem to work on 15+ models

those seem to catch that the cats are removed regardless and need a tune

the previous owner installed them on mine and cleared the code i guess but it popped up and while changing the oil i saw it has test pipes and they have gold o2 bungs installed
