Hello from Mississippi

Hello, everyone!

Been perusing the forums for a while now, and my registration just got approved. Lots and lots of great info on here!

I don't have it officially in my possession yet, but I inherited my Dad's 2009 370z Touring w/Sport package after he passed away in July. It's still in the garage at Mom's house until I can find the time to make the 10-hour trip to get it and bring home, not to mention finding time to clear out my garage to store it.

My Dad was a Z guy for the last 40+ years of his life, having owned a 260z, 280zx, '88 300zx Shiro Special, '91 300zx, '04 350z and then the '09 370z. The '88 was handed down to me when I was too young and dumb to know what I had (and I so regret selling it!) and now I'm getting the 370z. He only put 40k miles on it in 10 years due to retirement, and now it'll be a cherished weekend cruiser for me.

I look forward to really digging into the forums to learn more about these fantastic cars!

Have a great New Year!

Sorry for your loss but welcome to the forum - you'll definitely find LOTS to read about any type of subject related to the Z here. That is an impressive list of cars that your dad owned and I think you'll find the Z to be a great drivers car.

Welcome!

Sorry to hear about your dad, but I'm sure he would want you to enjoy his Z as much as he enjoyed all of his.

What part of the state are you in? I'm in Brandon.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I would love to have those Z's he had over the years. At least I was able to really enjoy the '88 and '91 during my high school years. Had maybe a little too much fun borrowing those on Saturday nights!
