Hi from Austin, TX

Hi everyone,
New 370z owner here out in Austin, TX. I used to have a 300zx and a couple of MR2s back in the day. I wanted a 370z for a while (as you can see my join date from 4 years ago) and finally pulled the trigger on one.

Anyway, I hope get some good info from here and hopefully contribute something. If any of you locals are up for some scenic drives, give me a pm.

Thanks!

:hello: and :welcome:

Z scene is pretty low key here. A few active forum members. There's an G club for the Infinitis but the crowd is a bit too young and immature for my tastes. Capitol Z Club are good people and do lots of work on their Z cars (mostly older members with older Z models) but I think they meet south these days.

Thanks! The current Z scene seems to be a little immature for me as well (at least based on what I've seen on the internet). I dont' really facebook and I'm kinda older (but not too old). My idea of fun is scenic drives and getting lunch (I guess I am old). Anyway, I love all the older Z's too and I'll be sure to give all of them a wave if we cross paths.

I recommend checking out the Capitol Z Club. I've been on a number of Hill Country cruises with them :driving:

I don't Facebook either. I hear stories though :ugh:
This forum is mostly good people. The idiots get flamed fast and hard though lol

+1 for the Capitol Z Club recommendation if you are into scenic drives.

It's not for me but others seem to enjoy it.

There is a bunch of us down in San Antonio - ZSport Car Club of San Antonio.

They're pretty active and have a big event (Nismo Fiesta) planned for next month.

Here it is. Just like every other stock car.

Whats the best way to get in contact with the CZOT. I searched for a website, but it looked broken.

The San Antonio event looks cool, def up for that.

Thanks everyone!
