Finally Did IT

So I finally pulled the trigger and got my 370z (well I got it like 2 weeks ago but barely posting). GOD DAMN I LOVE THIS CAR. Still haven't named her, here are some pics my friend took. Basque in it's glory

Quick question: I got the warranty (platinum wrap) which covers all mechanical components on my car up to 100k miles (40k right now) I get free oil changes and stuff like that for 2 years and I have the club package as well which covers tires wheels, dents and keys. What is your take on this should I keep it? Payments went up ~80$/month

Probably overpaid but having a warranty is a good thing IMO. Make sure the warranty covers clutch hydraulic system. CSC will be the first thing to go most likely (assuming you got a MT).

In addition to warranty, I got some ridiculous paint and interior and wheel protection warranty for like $1000 on our new Honda. Covered for 5 years for dents, scratches, and even water spot and bird crap etchings. They fix it until I'm happy. The car came with scratches on the trunk I made them fix, and I've already used the coverage to have one wheel refinished after a highway debris incident. It just got its first rock chip this past weekend; I will be scheduling it to be fixed at no charge to me (incl loaner vehicle) very soon.

If you have the space and ability, I'd recommend you DIY basic maintenance like oil changes (really any fluid flush except 7AT fluid). Even if you already paid for them. If you don't know how, learn. I used this site to learn how to work on my Z. Don't want to be leaving your baby in the hands of a inept dealer tech :twocents:

Congrats on your Z. :tiphat:
