Berk HFC Motordyne e370 cbe and Stillen gen 3 intakes
with those mods ..how much gains and what numbers should i expect to see with n uprev tune . also does an uprev tune actually give extra power like a chip or does it just tell the ecu what mods u have? also i have a stillen oil cooler if that helps
|
Expects 1996 hp, oil cooler adds another 17.46 hp.
|
No tune 310-312 WHP/ With tune 310-315 ? WHP but your power under the curve will be much higher +18-22 WHP, WTRQ will increase there also. UPREV remaps the stock ECU with new fuel, timing and AF targets.
You wont see big up top gains , Down low and midrange will be improved . |
thanks

Only raise the rev limiter if you're comfortable with the fact that the oil pumps come apart at high rpm. Also, the reason you see different numbers is that no two cars are exactly alike. Dynos vary. Conditions vary. Elevations vary. Accept the fact that you'll have to settle for a range of numbers as an answer. |
I just installed Berk HFC's, Motordyne Shockwave E370, Stillen Gen3 Intake a couple weeks back. I'm getting it tuned at RAD tomorrow... I'll post up numbers on my build thread. This should help you with numbers to expect from an UpRev tune and those mods. :driving:
p.s. This combo sounds great! |
awesome
awesome bro tag me in it or anyway u can let me know when the thread is up so i can look at it.

The tuner will in most cases raise it only a few hundred RPM I think mine is at 7800 now but I'm NEVER up there so forgot. |
yeah true im almost never up there only if im pulling against someone for fun.
|
Only raise the rev limiter if you have the funds for a new motor. You're playing with fire.
|
I don't even run up there when pulling( Dyno yes) driving no, shift 75-7600
|
yeah true

Op,
I've cleaned up your thread of your unnecessary name calling to people that took the time to come in here to try to help you. Please be respectful or you'll find yourself no longer wanted here. Please read the middle of my sig. & Live it! Thanks. |

|
I just posted on my build thread the results from the tune with those installed parts... check it out in my sig.

Those mods will probably get you no more than 320 HP or lower on Mustang Dyno.
What I like about Uprev tune: 1. Removed throttle lag (1st gear) 2. Valet Map 3. Increased Torque 4. Better Gas Mileage (depends how you drive) 5. Reprogramed cooling fan 6. No Start Map (anti-theft mode) |
nice

Make sure you take the most current throttle map from the thread in the tuning section to your tuner as a lot of them don't spend a whole lot of time tweaking the throttle. You switch between maps using the cruise control switches. You'll get a handful of maps to switch between as BeemaaZ posted. |
re
what would ur top 5 maps be? also tuning section?

I run 93 octane, nothing else... I just bought the car two months ago so I'm not sure on its maintenence before me. I know I'll be taking his care from here on out. Although I was expecting much higher numbers, I really felt a huge difference from my initial install of the parts and more so after the tune. The tune really made a huge difference with how I interact with the car, much more responsive. I'm happy with it. All in all, I have a trip back to Atlanta soon and if I have time, I'll have it on a dynojet to see what it'll say. I'm positive I've installed the parts correctly, but I'll have that checked too. |

I really can't complain though. The car feels great and the tune really has done wonders (at least from the day that I've had it thus far). I'll worry about numbers when I go FI. The only thing I would be worried about right now is if I just installed the parts improperly. I don't hear anything wrong and all of the sensors seem to be working with no warning lights. I'm going to change all of the fluids out of the car soon just to get the old stuff out and higher quality fluids in, maybe install an oil cooler too. I've already done my second oil change with redline, magnets, and puroilator filter. |
yeah i have a 6mt and after u change all fluids itll prob run smoother too. i had my diff trans engine brake and clutch fluids all flushed and changed like a month ago. u can actually feel the car running smoother
