ARK install - No regrets

I kind of promised the wife that I wouldn't change the car too much but the exhaust was just too quiet. I wanted to go a bit louder but did not want it too loud or any drone. (I did that with my SRT-4 and kicked myself every long drive to took with it) After listening to various exhaust clips for hours on YouTube, I finally decided to go with ARK. (No patients to wait for F.I.)

The install was so easy my redneck friend who only likes to work on Fords did it in under an hour. :icon17: He did not hear me pull up or help me get on the rack. He was making that annoying frog/ricer sound as he made fun of how he thought it would sound as he did the install. You know the one.

You should have seen his face when I started it! :eek2:

After I came back in my truck to pick up the old parts and box. He said, "That was a clean install and it honestly sounds fantastic!". That is a HUGE compliment coming from his hick *** believe me. I have been running it over a week now and I JUST LOVE IT! Now for some intakes and a tune! :yum:

 for a former SRT-4 owner.

All of my research has pointed me towards the ARK exhaust as well so I'm glad you like it.

Is it the Grip or DTS?

There are two G37s in our group here, Minneapolis, that have ARKs and I love them. They would be my second choice after F.I.s Great sound.

GRIP with polished tips :tiphat:

There are days I really miss my SRT-4! It was a good sleeper for the uninformed.

Very nice!

I'm trying to NOT trade in the SRT when I pick up the Z. Would be nice to keep both. Can't complain about the Neon as I've daily drove it the past 7 years and it's been pretty good to me.

Enjoy the exhaust!

I actually found my SRT-4 full MPX exhaust with HFC and downpipes in the shed. Any interest?

Thanks but it already has a full exhaust. 3" custom DP, HFC, Borla/Mopar catback. It's pretty much full bolt-ons, untuned on the stock turbo. If I keep it, an AGP Delta kit might be in my future. :eekdance:

If I didn't go LTH, ARK GRIP was my first choice. To me it has a deeper grumble than the FI exhaust. Plus I just couldn't resist the power FI made over ARK.

Anyway, enjoy your ARK GRIP...it's a lot better sounding than the wimpy stock exhaust.
