Their full catback is definitely louder than stock. I don't have a decibel reader. But I can find out later today and let you know. It is less than short tails. And barely less than a stock washer mod. I would compare it to the stock car having only a top speed axle back in volume. If you have ever heard long ram intakes on this car, I would say you can hear them equally. I can hear both. And they are about equal volumewise. So nothing crazy, NO rasp at all, and deeper sounding than any other exhaust I have heard so far. Absolutely NO drone.
I hope this helps. And as I said earlier, I will try and get a db meter on it later. So we will have definitive answers about stock vs. Garageline. |
For those of you who are curious.
DB levels of garageline catback exhaust: Cold start idle-84 (5 ft from middle rear) Warm start idle-81 (5 ft from middle rear) Revs to 5k- 94 (5 ft from middle rear) WOT take off- 94 Flyby WOT- 96 |
can you measure the tip diameter?

If I'm not mistaken, you can request 5" tips. I know Jermaine (shop owner) has them on his Garageline catback. They are the removable tips too. So they can easily be switched out to any other tips. |
nice thanks

I may use this axle-back with the oem nismo mid-pipes.
waiting on reply from garageline. |
that would be nice, a little louder and a better tone. would look good with the 5"tips also.
would love to see/hear it. |

Cabin noise is very minimal. compared to stock, while cruising the difference isn't noticeable at all. cruising at 50 or 70 the car has no drone at all. I am very pleased with it. My music is no louder than it ever was when I had it stock. its almost as if the exhaust only opens up at full throttle. and even then as you can see from the DB readings, its not that much.
