Got my fi exhaust in today!! Super excited to get it installed. Might try and do a YouTube video once installed.

Think its you...it is used so the packaging is probably diff than what ur used to seeing

Probably. It just looks like the cans are fused together, like a Stillen.

The cans, from what I can see, look like they are welded together.. The one I have the cans are completely separate. someone correct me if I am wrong. Anywho, hope you enjoy the exhaust :tup:, I love mine.

yeah, more I look at it.. the 2 cans are fused..and seems to lead to each tip. FI is 2 separate cans.

That is not Fast Intentions. I see something that resembles a helmholtz resonator and the obvious fused cans. OP, we can help ID it better if you unpack.

Got it from my brother in law down in NO. He upgraded to a Ark I think. He said it was FI and I love how it sounded so it doesn't matter to me..tbh

Looks like OP bought this exhaust instead and claiming it's an FI Nissan 370Z 2009-2012 Z34 3.7L V6 VQ37VHR LHD Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust System

I'm so conflicted. I would like to say, "if you are happy with the exhaust, go forth and conquer," but I can't. This situation is wrong on a few levels. The seller shouldn't have misrepresented the product, and hopefully didn't charge you a premium because of it. You should do you research and know what you are spending money on.

If I had opened that box, I would have gone through the roof. I may not have a FI exhaust, but I damn sure know what one looks like.

I sell rock crawling and Overlanding equipment for a living, and believe me I understand. I spend a majority of my time trying to convince people to buy the right products for their cars and camping, even if I make less money off of it. I truly believe in buying once and only once as I've learned first hand what happens when you skimp out. With certain products like recovery gear and other such things, saving a little money can result in death.

Hopefully for a wannabe "FI exhaust" price. Just put a decal on it and it will be a FI exhaust. :tup:

My point is you started a thread with the intention of misleading others into thinking you purchased FI exhaust. Why? Because you either can't afford FI exhaust or are too cheap to spend the money on it. And that's fine. Either way it's none of my business.

But when you start a thread knowingly trying to pass off a cheap exhaust as something else, then it's our responsibility to expose you as a fraud so that you don't later unload your "FI" exhaust on some unsuspecting forum member later.

There is no shame in buying a product that saves you money. There is PLENTY of shame in buying the same product but trying to make others believe it's something else. You started off on the wrong foot in this forum and it's going to be a cold day in Hades before anyone believes you again.

No BS...I appreciate your input and I have no idea why I'm even explaining to you but my BIL and I were talking about our vehicles and he asked me when I was going to do something to my Z. Told him I was looking at an exhaust to gv me a little rumble and he said he was selling his FI exhaust bc he was upgrading. I liked how his sounded so he said he'd sell it to me. I could really gv 2 $h!ts about the brand bc my Z is a ride for me and the wife bc she hates riding on my bike. It's MY Z and I was just sharing so I could care less who tells who about what...

I think people here was just trying to inform OP that he got scammed by his own brother in law. If I was told I was being sold a FI exhaust and I got a different product, I would be damn pissed, I don't care how cheap I bought it for. I hate liars and I bet that's not the first time his brother in law lied to him.
I mean what if you bought a sound system that was suppose to be of high quality and expensive but instead you got something from a different company and a lot cheaper. It may "sound nice" but you wouldn't be pissed? Haha...

i got a stillen exhaust, i dont want it to be associated with that lol

but as long as he likes the exhaust it's all good, maybe he did think it was FI who knows
