New GP Sports Exhaust
 

GP Sports is a company that has kept their hands in anything that involves amateur drifting in Japan.

GP Sports offers aero kits, exhausts, turbos, suspension, etc. etc. One of the main reasons GP Sports is so heavily popular amongst amateur drifters in Japan is because they offer good quality products for a reasonable cost (in Japan). Obviously their exhaust is no Amuse, and their aero kits are no where close to Zele; but that is one of the great things about GP Sports. They start off with a budget in mind and try their hardest to maximize the efficiency of that product without going over the budget or targeted price.

This exhaust is fabricated using SUS304 stainless steel and has a decibel rating of 93 with one main 70mm pipe that splits into two 60mm pipes with a 115mm tip and 160mm resonator.

$2395.00 is budget priced??? :eek: Unless that's in Yen.

All this Japanese tuner stuff is ridiculous. From the bigger throttle bodies to the exhaust its all really over priced. I know its not just your prices the370z.com. I have went directly to the source of a couple of these products and its not much cheaper to order from overseas. In fact it would probably be more after shipping. I just don't know how what these Japanese tuners are thinking.

People in Japan live according to their income and budget. A 370z is not an inexpensive car in Japan based on their living standards and the average resident. One who purchases a fairlady has the means to own the vehicle and spend money on modifications, otherwise they will use public transportation and/or not modify their vehicle. Unlike American culture they live within their means, and not strech themselves out just to own a particular car. For the general sample of course, not speaking for all of them. Paying a few hundred thousand yen for an exhaust is expected among many of the tuning options in Japan, I think bang for the buck and cheap fixes are more congruent with our culture here. I like to use the same mentality, if your not going to do it right just keep it stock. An equivalent would be driving around a kit car ferrari to feel like and pretend your in the real deal, when its far from the original intended value of owning one... Or owning a original artwork painting, why pay $10,000 for a piece of artwork when you can frame the poster of the painting for 10 bucks and hang it on your wall.

wow overpriced and is just a replica of other 370z exhaust but with hideous Ti Tips.

Holy honda civic batman... I would cut those tips off any 370 i came across with them and rearrange his vinyl stick ons to say shame on you. I wouldn't steal them just cut them off.

Looks disgusting. For that price, it would have to be one snazzy looking exhaust. Someone $hit the bed on this one.
