anyone have the nismo r tune intake???

has anyone installed the r tune long tube intakes on their 370? I'm torn between these and the stillen g3 of corse. i just haven't seen any stats on power increase or heard what people think about them. i also like not having to cut anything on my car to install them, plus i don't have to remove my bumper to clean the filters. any input will help thank you in advance.

I did the G3 because that's the one that everyone seems to go with and the power increase is noticeable and throttle response is improved a bit. I was a bit intimidated to take the bumper off the first time, but after doing it I wouldn't let that hold you back. It literally took me about 10 mins to take off the front bumper. Also, because the area behind the bumper is well protected, I can't imagine needing to clean the filters on the G3 very often. Maybe annually or even longer, depending on your local driving conditions of course. And I think people make too big a deal out of the trimming needed to fit the G3's. It took me 5 minutes of trimming on both sides with a dremmel tool equipped with a drywall cutting bit. And I didn't trim very much material either. Not sure what the stats are on the Nismo intake, but I think the G3 is about the best around. And you don't have to relocate the windshield wash reservoir like you do with several of the other intakes. Good luck with the decision.

I went with the nismo CAI. Didn't like the idea of cutting either and I really liked the powder coated black finish. Sound definately got deeper at the lower RPM range and I noticed a little pick up, but not much with intake alone. I also like that they have water bypass reservoirs the prevent hydro lock if you happen to come across it. Install was pretty easy. I did have to take off the front bumper, not hard at all, and the kit does come with a replacement windshield washer reservoir for fitment. I know the G3's are the go to on the forum, but since you asked, I'll let you know I'm happy with my choice. Good luck with whichever option you go with

I just purchased these today. I'll chime in on what the difference is once I install next weekend. I currently have the z1 post mafs and K&N drop ins...

I installed the nismo r tune CAI last night. I know the instructions say no need to remove the bumper but I bet it would've been twice as easy if I did. Relocating the washer fluid reservoir was a pita! I took the car for a test drive and I did notice a slightly deeper tone and a little jump in power from about 2500rpm. It doesn't feel drastically different from the post mafs and drop in filters but its a decent gain. I wasn't expecting a kick in the pants from power gains since it is just an intake setup but I could definitely tell by sound/butt dyno that gains were made!
