I've been trying to learn more about exhausts. I have a question, but I don't think it's worth creating another thread, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Essentially I'm just trying to get a better/deeper/louder sound out of my Z. The nismo already comes with a true dual exhaust system, so I'm not interested in a full system, however, I'd like to do an axle back. I've come across the beluga/top speed/etc. and they seem to be what I'm going for. There's a local custom exhaust shop near my work and they have amazing reviews. I'd like to give them a shot, but I'm not looking for straight piping or a muffler delete. My question is, do shops fabricate their own resonator too or is that something that's really expensive ($400+)? A lot of the reviews are saying the custom mufflers and other parts of the exhaust were put on in less then 2 hours. Basically I'm just curious about the resonator. The muffler delete option sounds great, but I don't want to have to deal with drone, vibrations, or obnoxious exhaust notes where I'm waking up the neighbors. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
