You can put some washers between the cross bar and the body to lower it down, or you can put a pipe clamp on the exhaust hangers back from the cross bar to snug up the exhaust.

hangers on the muffler or the 1 on the midpipe?

get an old fan belt from a shop and cut a few small pieces from it, wedge them in between the exhaust and the cross member ... no more rattling

That would work or maybe consider poly exhaust hangers. They might be stiff enough to provide the clearance you need.

I have this exhaust, and its an easy fix. Loosen up all the connections between the pipes, take a jack and jack that section up about an inch, then tighten everything down. when you let down the jack, the mid pipe will stay off the crossmember

Jack up the exhaust so you have a fingers width clearance, put pipe clamps around the grommets on the hangers. Crack the clamps tight and you're good to go. Fixed my crossbar problem for over two years now.

See the thread below. The last two photos of first post shows how pipe clamps were used around the rubber hangers at the mid pipe. You'd need to loosen the bolts around the mid pipe first then jack up the pipe until you get enough clearance, crank the clamps tight around the rubber hangers to keep the pipe up, then retighten your bolts. Be mindful how high you're raising the pipes because it can cause your exhaust tips to be too close to the rear bumper and rattles there too

What I did when I installed my DTS exhaust. If just installed without any adjustment like if you were to do it fast it would hit the bar.

I have a nice scar near my eye to from that install! A wrench slipped and hit me in the face.
