No.

It wasn't, but putting it back on definitely requires two people if you want a smooth reinstallation. It helps to jack to car up to get the bottom screws out too.

A second person does make it much easier, but jacking the car up to access the lower bolts is unnecessary... They are all easily accessible.

ANyone know If Stillen is now doing Dry Filters over K&N Oil.

Dead thread resurrected after being 18 months dormant. This probably happens around here all the time. Don't get me wrong, still a valid topic especially for those with newer Z's.

Wikipedia: Necro may refer to: necro-, the Greek prefix meaning death

No, and a word of caution. For the install of Injen's CAI and AEM and now Nismo, the bumper will need to be removed for the install. Removing the bumber over a period of time can lead to eventual misaligned edges over time. When I need to perform cleaning maintenence on the filters I will jack up the front of car turn the wheel towards the inside and pop out the removable clip retainers on the plastic wheel well and pull it outward far enough to reach the filter, remove the screw and filter clean and reinstall. It's actually quicker than removing the bumper....only 4 (total) pop out clips versus a gazillion on the bumper removal.

No I do not know if Stillen is...but you can buy Amsoil Nano Filter (dry). You will need to know the dimensons of the Stillen to crossreference to Amsoil. Amsoil Dry is the way to go if you want the best in filtration. Oiled will give a few more in HP it's a trade off and a lot of oil heads know dry is the way for clean oil when doing a UOA (Used Oil Analysis).

BTW: Check out the R&D thread on the new intake design -- elliptical velocity stack within airbox/resonance chamber.

Very, very promising design! Not just tube + filter -- development is underway!

Sorry, here --> http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...-test-car.html (yes, dumb typo in title...)

Again, this is only just in R&D stages, so limited updates as of yet. Details in thread.

very interesting, really hope the prototype shows promise.
