My Shopping Cart. Good Call, Or No? Need Help!

I originally made a thread that i had $5000 to spend on my Magnetic Black 370z base w/Sport Package. Here is what i came up with. I put alot of thought into it and here it is:

1) Fast Intentions Catback Exhaust
2) Fast Intentions High Flow Cats
3) R2C's Black Chrome Pop Charger
4) Eibach Lowering Springs
5) 20mm Rear, 15mm Front Spacers
6) Powdercoating Rims Gloss Black
7) Painting Door Handles Black
8) BlackOut Headlights and Tailights

All together im looking at about $3600 to $3800 total for this. That puts me at about $1,000 to $1,300 left out to spend....Looking for ideas on that one.
So all together would this be an ideal buy for me? Or should i modify something on here?

Looking For FEEDBACK!!!! Plz Help

I thought all the short intakes had pretty much proven to not be worth the money. I must have missed something.

Great list, only thing I would not order right now would be the R2C intakes. I would wait for some results or maybe think about Injen or Stillen maybe, so far no short style has proven gains on the Z.

Yes, now after seeing all the good results from these companies about how a short style intake system can provide good results I think I know when/how. The temperature outside has to be in the 70s, your car will probably need to just be past the warm up stage and you are golden.

Not trying to thread jack you jerkey, just hoping to provide some insight to things.

Good choice, if you're going to track. Only need it if you're going to track though.

is the oil cooler ment for aut-x or drag race...right now i only plan on doing drag race until i can get some extra cash to upgrade my suspension then ill do auto-x. But how is the oil temps just for drag racing?

To the OP i say get stillin g3 or injen.

For straight line? I gotta think it depends on the time between runs.

jerkey 08-29-2009 12:17 PM

Alright, so what i get outta the replies is,
I need to go Long tube intake, everything else is good.
Also how much is it get the Nav Put in, thats in the Higher end Z Models?

Yeah, that'd only be about $6000 more or so :)

Not everyone wants forced induction...

For the OP:

1) Sure
2) I'd make sure they don't throw codes first - but NC might be loose on their emissions stuff...
3) As everyone else said - wait for numbers. IMHO, I don't see those short pop-chargers, regardless of brand, making solid numbers compared to Stillen's kit (or any other brand that is similar for that matter).
4) Never was a fan of lowering springs myself, but I guess if that's your thing... Coil overs for me
5) Are you planning on tracking the car? Figured I'd ask...all this money going into the car, why not a nice set of properly-offset wheels?
6) Read above. Trying to save money on the wheels I assume...
7) Yeah, I want to do that too...
8) And now that I see this, I can only assume this car is going to be a hard-parker, so I guess whatever mods make it look good, go for it lol.
