My set probably won't be here until late next week, and I have Weds/Thurs off so it will probably be the the first week of September before I am able to make the appointments and get to town. It will be a Dynojet run.

No, did not hear back from Ed, and they have not charged my card.....:shakes head:

UPDATE: I checked to see if the seal does in fact seal to hood and it does. I rolled pieces of tape and put them on the seals, all over it.
Closed the hood and opened it to find out all the tape was stuck to the hood now.

Are the insides of the tubes plated as well or are they plain?

nogoodname 08-22-2009 08:01 PM

inside are plated as well.

on a side note, could you remove the quote.... it's such a waste of bandwidth to quote my review...
thanks.....lol :)

JvKintheUSA 08-22-2009 08:08 PM

I'm a little nervous that the plating might let loose at some point due to heat and get into the engine....

nogoodname 08-22-2009 08:11 PM

i really doubt that would happen, it's not wrapping paper...lol

it's metal bonded to another metal... if it was chrome on steel...... yes, major problem because rust cracks and chips the chrome.

the pipes are made from aluminum and aluminum doesnt rust.
bare aluminum can only corrode with oxygen, but this is not bare aluminum ....

JvKintheUSA 08-22-2009 08:36 PM

They looks soooo nice! But maybe I will stick to the powder coating...

JvKintheUSA 08-22-2009 08:37 PM
