Replace K&N with dry filter

Does anyone know if you can replace the Stillen Gen 2 K&N air filter with a dry type? I am hearing some stories of failed airmass sensors due to the oil in the K&N filters.

I don't see why not. On my Acura RSX-S, I ran the AEM V2 intake and replaced the K&N with a dry filter. Just measured it up and ordered it.

you can try r2c. their stillen replacement filter says 350z but may fit the 370z version?

Thanks guys! I might get the Stillen Gen 2 intake (don't want to deal with the gen 3 front fascia removal to get it installed and to clean the filters), and then change the K&N filter.

Did the G2 show any gains?

I would give the R2C dry filters a shot.
