Berk Cats

I ordered them last week and they got here today.
Great price desent shipping charge to Canada . The service from DD motor sports was great.
My Stillen exhuast arrived last friday and the pair will be installed next week/
The Stillen G3 intake is on and it made 20 RWHP.
Baseline was 266. Intake 286. Cats plus exhaust ???? Hopefully 316 RWHP.
Its a 7 AT Sport with 4.08 gears. Best pass with the intake 13.201. 1/4 mile.
12's here we come.
Not sure about the stillen headers?
But the underdrive pulley is next.

Will post dyno numbers soon.

very nice!! whats this about the gears?

Z eliminator 08-10-2009 06:37 PM

I changed the diff. 4.08 gears Not too good for an every day driver, But. launch at 2000 rpm shift at 7400 and it goes through the gears very quick.
0 to 60 based on my 1/8 mile times 4.4 seconds with a 2.01 60 ft time.
The tires spin too much.

racerxj17 08-10-2009 06:39 PM

where did you get the gears from?

Z eliminator 08-10-2009 06:47 PM

I bought the diff from a nissan mechanic here in Canada. He built it for his G 35.
It cost me 1000.00 . Not a bad price as the parts cost him 850.00.

The rev matching with these gears takes some time to get use to. I t fells like it surges a lot at 25 to 35 miles per hour. It is annoying!!!
I wish that i could turn it off.
It drinks more gas now.

HOME - Advance Power House & Dyno
^
A Trusted shop of many tuners in Toronto. Many of us z33 guys use APH exclusively because of their great work and attention to detail.
-They have in-house dyno and tuning.
(APH is one of a handful of shops in ontario that tune with Uprev's Osiris along with many other EMS.)
-Owner has a 500+whp, built block 350zTT.
-Many years of experience working on Vq's and z33's

In case you were needing some JDM goodies.. I would recommend speaking with:
HOME - SPEEDSTAR.COM
^Another fantastic shop. They are the JDM source for many in Toronto/Ontario.

Twelves are in your future! :)

Is the differential a nissan or aftermarket unit? What was your trap speed on that 13.20 run? Your car will be bad a** with your new cats/exhaust!
