Installed...HKS Hi Power on Berk RTP's
 

Well after what seemed like a long wait (2 weeks) The HKS arrived to my garage!! I got it installed this weekend with no issues except that while torquing down one of the mid pipe hangar brackets on the car, I sheared off one of the studs. No matter I ran to Lowes bought a 5/16 ss bolt nut and titanium drill bit, drilled it out replace with stronger bolt and put the he-man on it:tup:....Everything fit impeccably after I realized the NISMO model comes with an extra hangar bracket on the driver side that I took off and just bolted the rubber hanger to the correct spot on the car. I am just suprised how well it fits. The sound is amazing it has a low rumble at lower rpms then quickly changes tone at WOT and at higher rev. Kinda cool and needless to say im gonna go over budget on gas this month :ugh2:. I love the sound and am very happy overall and at $675 bucks its a great buy (Cant thank you enough Hojin :tiphat:) Anyways here's some pics! rev vid soon to follow let me know if you want to see anything else guys!

looking good bro! probably sounds a lot meaner than when i had it.

The biggest thing i noticed about the sound is that theres no rasp man. Theres a little hiss at 2000 rpm but idk if that will ever go away with tp's. but it probably sounded similar with your hfcs id imagine. Now your turbo will sound mean!

that hiss is from your rtp bc when i took off my hfc and just had the exhaust it had no hiss at all, and yes the wait is almost over for me...im almost there!! hahhaa

What a deal you got there! Good for you man! And I love the hks exhaust. You have to let someone drive your car so that you can hear it yourself. It sounds different then you hear it from your driver's seat. Sounds so mean!:tup:

Yeah its so much louder i love it!! Also its interesting you say that it sounds a little...tin canny if i can say that... from the driver seat at wot but someone driving behind me said he didnt hear it that way at all! Is that what you mean?

That's awesome! I want mine to be louder. Lol. When I meant to be different is from the driver's seat it sounds quiet and barely to hear. But from outside when someone drives away my car I can hear the exhaust sounds much louder and exotic.:tup: But either way I haven't noticed tin can sound. Maybe that's because I am on stock cats.

Sounds freaking mean as ****!

I'm not usually a fan of HKS exhausts, but that sounds pretty damn good. You should get a set of those afterburner tips for it.
