So any more updates on this r2d2 intake? any independent dyno test data?? I'm very interested if it even comes close to the g3 gains without any of the drawbacks.

I have been talking to the guys there as I know we have some interested people here. They were supposed to have a 370 there last week, but due to bad weather the guy couldn't come. Once the Z actually gets there they will know the same day (one hour I was told) whether it fits the same as the G37 or not. I will be sure to let you all know when he e-mails me this week. (hopefully)

Pushing_Tin 08-09-2009 10:55 PM

Maybe I should start another thread, but how many of you are interested in this intake? I have encouraged a group buy, as well as them becoming a sponsor here.

RCZ 08-09-2009 11:20 PM

not to sound like a douche but so far all other intakes I've seen produce about 1/5 the power that the Stillen G3's produce. What I'm trying to say is, if you care about performance, anything other than the G3s are a waste of time.

What do you say the dyno results posted in this thread then?

I can see you are a Stillen fan, that's cool, but keep an open mind.

tbonesteak 08-10-2009 12:50 AM

Yeah, IF and a big one at that, this intake can even produce 75% of the hp that the G3 does, i will be all over it. It takes away all the drawbacks of the g3 while yielding good enough gains. Tin, please keep us posted. Thanks.

Did they tell you how long the install would be? I got quoted $350 to install a catback. I told em to go pound sand and eventually did it myself

Alright, when you get them installed, get a dyno run and post it.
