Yeah put your stock exhaust back on ....

A lot if R&D went into this exhaust, don't ruin the way this exhaust sounds with a silencer.

Pretty sure that if the need for being quiet comes around, putting a silencer in is a lot easier than swapping the whole exhaust.

I think you missed my point. There's lots of sound clips around here for every exhaust. If "x" exhaust was too loud why purchase it? I don't think there are silencers available for this exhaust. If he wanted a quiet exhaust he should of researched better.

Or found an exhaust that came with a silencer option.

I've had a couple neighbors complain about my exhaust sound after HFC installed. so I need a silence-able exhaust to keep my neighbors happy, but intent to take it out whenever I want to. I gotta live this house till this winter :(

Ahh ok I totally understand now. But the exhaust is rather quiet if your not at WOT. I got the LTH and the exhaust and when I come home the speed limit in residential is 15-25 mph so unless your in first the whole time or constantly revving your engine as you pull in. I don't think it's loud.

I'd laugh at my neighbor if they told me my exhaust is too loud. One they don't dictate what you put in your car. I understand the whole respect thy neighbor but a little easy off the pedal should suffice.

Get rid of the HFCs. I know that kind of sucks but you can always put them back on later if you live in a place that's more accommodating. You're never going to make the FI TDX quiet as long as you have the HFCs on there.

Silencers will reduce your power, especially at the top end because ow the way they constrict exhaust flow.

If you really wanted to you could weld in those adjustable cut offs which would control sound and flow.

Hate to disagree with you here. Cutoffs are usually for those who have silent or quiet exhausts who want them louder with a cutout. Which is like running open header. So on his cause putting an open cutout would only make his car louder.

Removing and exchanging hfc is a pain. Either change where you live, change your exhaust back to stock or drive slowly and deal with the neighbors that way. You are doing nothing illegally. For them to tell you what to do seems wrong to me.

Do you tell them not to cook fish because it stinks? Just as an example. What if they love fish? Will they completely stop eating/cooking it because it stinks to you and you complained? Just an example.
