Custom CBE with Borla XR-1's
 

As the title says I had Borla XR-1's installed today. I have been running stock cats with a custom dual straight pipe for about 5 months and I loved the sound. It was loud and in your face but without the rasp. About a week ago i decided to get some test pipes and stick them in. I bought Beluga Racing TP's and they only took about 4 hours to install, so not that bad.

All i have to say is that our cars are ridiculously loud fully straight piped but sound incredibly throaty and just plain mean! I couldn't even talk to someone standing 10 feet behind my car. This setup lasted for only 3 days before I ordered the XR-1's. I imagined they would be big but these puppies are huge. 14" long and 6.25" in diameter, but they fit under the car perfectly and my fabricator made the piping look badass. Ill post some pictures tomorrow along with before and after videos.

Overall they're more high pitched than i was hoping for but they still sound good. Now its time for a LT CAI and then on to UPREV!:happydance:

No that was at like 8 in the morning and I didnt want to wake everyone in the neighbor hood up lol. Ill post a video tomorrow of my car with the mufflers in and ill do a cold start and rev.
