Saw this on the amuse FB page don't know what exact mods they have on the car or Dyno settings but numbers seem extremely impressive for NA is the 370 finally able to crack almost 400hp NA, things are looking up.

It's on a Dynapack which read high, and without a list of mods, hard to believe an NA setup that made 400 when not even the highest NA setup thats been published hasn't even cracked 350. :ugh2:

Yeah that definitely explains it. That's basically gaining 60whp, which many heavily modded 370z's do achieve.

JC671 04-09-2013 04:17 PM

I got excited then saw it was a dynapack.... :-(

FPenvy 04-09-2013 04:20 PM

haha what a epic fail. i knew there was a smell of BS when i read the thread title. nothing against OP more just about the claim they made of 400WHP

Sales@AAMComp 04-09-2013 04:50 PM

That's a lot of torque for N/A

GarageLine.com 04-09-2013 05:37 PM

There is nothing BS about the gains. 70 hp and 45 lbs seem pretty good to me.

FPenvy 04-09-2013 05:39 PM

Yea maybe bhp. No way they are at 403whp. If like to see a list of mods and some proof.

6MT-Z34 04-09-2013 05:48 PM

I bet if it did produce 403whp only being NA a lot of ppl will go and buy the same parts that Z has lol :bowrofl:

That dyno claims a baseline of 338 ps and winds up at 408 ps... a gain of about 21%.

Most stock Z's dyno around 275-285 on a dynojet... a gain of 21% on that would put it in the 332-342 range. High, but a few have hit that with full bolt ons, tune, generous correction etc.

So... the reported values are considerably inflated (relative to dynojet numbers) and the proportionate gain, while on the high side, is not unheard of.

I'm glad you made sense of it. :icon14:

Dynapack are the most acurate of dynos compared to mustang dynos that aren't relatively accurate. since dynapacks are connected to the wheel hubs and not rollling on a roller.

If it made 403 WHp they have corrected it because the last time i checked Whp was at 389-390.
